Blackbird with white tail feather and companion - update.

On 8 June, I blogged about a blackbird with a white tail feather. A comment from ‘Kidsgran’ said she had a blackbird with a damaged wing with white feathers. During the hot weather late summer the white feather on my bird was sticking out at a funny angle and then dropped out. No more white feathers. Here he is sheltering from the hot sun on the bird table, same beady eye!
His friend on the right, was given to me by by bro. in law, from a £1 shop years ago. His head was on a spring and used to nod, but the spring rusted thro’ and the head fell off. Took me a couple of weak to re locate it.
I have some other ‘friends’, I might one day show you, if you don’t tease me ……. No gnomes though!!!
Oh! Ok! Just one more then
She’s stone and was inherited. It would have been a shame to dump her.

Nice to see you again ,Kidsgran, and thanks, you were right about damaged feathers. Will blog 'quirky' duck sometime and Owl is over 50 years old. Lol
