The Back Fence

The Cotinus has just come into leaf, growing thro’ it is a Cistus, which will need removing its got quite leggy at the base.
To the right the Olive tree, with a Convolvulus cneorum growing at its base and intermingling thro’ the lot a twinning Billarderia, which has yellow flowers followed by purple fruits.
Close up of the Convolvulus a shrub that needs good drainage.
Just out of the photo to the left, is a clump of this cross, pic taken a few days ago before the torrential rain.

I’m in agreement. It’s a really lovely mix of planting and colour, Sue.
The iris is a really pretty colour.

Your border does look lovely Siris, the Iris certainly is a beauty, I don't think I've ever seen one with such a mixture of pretty shades, is it one of your own
