The Warm Spell

hello again fellow GOY’s I hope all of you have made the most of the recent warm weather..after seeing the blog by Pixi and her being inspired by the weather to take some pictures I thought id follow suit.
Its amazing how things change over the seasons, for me thats perhaps the greatest delight of having a garden..
It is also amazing how things just go their own way if you are not on top of things..something i find difficult because of my rather hectic work/life balance..
but there is still some colour around..

Wonderful pictures - very atmospheric. Ditto Sticki's comment - that's my favourite, too

Lovely blog Guy! That verbascum's going to be an absolute whopper next year, and the rest of that raised border is looking lovely for this time of year! Beautiful poppy too, they don't last as long as I'd like...but I still can't resist planting them! You have some glorious views around your home, Guy, you're very lucky to live there... when you're not working, of course! Hope the shoulder? is feeling better!

What a lovely place you live in. Must be wonderful to step outside the door and have such beautiful places to walk. It must be really nice for Meg too. She looks a little like my older dog Indi. We're getting ready to celebrate her 14th birthday next month. She started with white whiskers and muzzle. She now has little white eyebrows to match!! Meg of course does not look that old! I love black labradors. Does Meg go with you when you are at work? Both of my dogs came with me when I had my flower shop.

Lovely pictures, especially like that golden wheat/corn/maize? field.
