Update on Growing stuff on Tree's..

Things have grown since spring,I have added..mostly plants the cats broke off of the main plants. The Staghorn ferns are the result of that.
I want to add..this gets addicting. The more you add the funner it gets and more natural too.
In Mexico,succulents- even Cacti- grow on tree’s. I want to try that. They also add color,right? Blue or purple succulents,yellow spined Mammilaria cactus. Just climb higher on the ladder.

Jen,I had NO plans to remove pups from the Staghorn in the backyard..then over a few days there they were,on top of a shrubby cane Begonia.Actually,I've have that fern for near 40 years and had never seen what the roots looked like until the cats "learned me"..lol.
Paul,they are doing better then expected for just starting in May or so. I tell you,I have other great spots higher-but- I also can see my obituary "Stan died because he just HAD to put one more plant from a 12' ladder that.. tipped"
I hate heights!

I'm thinking the son in law is young..he could recover from a little broken bone or two. I see a great spot for a cactus up there...

Lol, did make me laugh. Don't know if you can get much more up there :-). Think you need to give the cats a big treat for giving you so many plants to put up there. What a wonderful experiment that has worked so well.
