Warm up finally..not very warm.

We left behind the highs of 13C and lows of 3.5C…for some sun and 17C highs and plus. Lows are now staying above 40f (4.4C) hard to make our “magic numbers” sound the same in centrigrade-lol. I do my best.
I trimmed off the singed top mango leafs. I cant help to stand back and admire something very rare here- a tall Mango. That I had to bend the top 2’ growth over to reach it to prune is something I always hoped for but wondered if I would ever see the day. Its about 8’.
Santol is alive. The cold killing temps are over..but not the warm spring temps yet. I have no idea if it burst out in bud or just slowly recovers (probably that)..or will fade and die.
Right now, only the soil under the canopy of a big tree is not soaked into near mud. Its that wet.
Guava plants are fine. So a good test and results for them.
More rain by Wednesday- oof. Tired of the stuff. Its not so much that Hayward had gotten heavy rains..its the constant wet and with only short breaks in between that wears on me.
Way back in the drought years of last year-lol,we were having 18-20C January days. I miss that!
