I’m not quite sure what’s going on with my Magnolia. It bloomed early in the spring now it’s having another go. It has never bloomed twice before and has about 10 bus on it. Very strange indeed!
This afternoon I went for a walk around the lake at Sir Harold Hillier Gardens it was lovely.
Tuesday 5th July
Went out to say goodbye to OH this morning only to find this little beauty in flower. Also noticed a pair of Doves nesting on the to of the Telephone pole at the end of the drive.

You can say that again just had to dash out and rescue the green house door it was flapping in the wind :0(
one Dahlia is on the ground. I had an early appointment at the hospital so up and out early to sit a wait for three hours. But at least I now know my foot is permanently damaged. Not the news I was hoping for.

Oh, that's very disappointing news for you and disgraceful having to wait so long. It beggars belief how appointments can be running late so early in the day! Are you in pain with the damaged foot?

Good morning Shirley,
We concluded because the forecast was for a sunny start to the day the consultant was on the golf course first thing! I have lived with the constant pain for the past 3 1/2 years so I've got used to it. Some days it’s like having bad tooth ache there all the time, others it's hard to walk and on a bad day I could cry with the pain. It has really affected my life in so many ways. It does get me down a bit but I just say stop feeling sorry for yourself and get on with it. There are a lot of people far worse off than me.

Lol about the golf theory! You have a very positive attitude regarding your foot problem ... but I guess there's not much alternative really. Keep smiling through! : o ))

Spring-flowering shrubs will sometimes flower again in the autumn but mid summer is definitely odd
