What A Welcome

I am genuinely overcome that so many of you took the trouble to welcome me. I honestly didn’t expect any comments. I feel as though I am among friends and it is a very nice feeling. I know I am among friends when I read Hywel’s cat story. I had tears running down my face as we lost our 17 year old cat two weeks ago – everything was giving up. However I felt contented that we had done everything to care for her through out her 17 years.

Hi Sue, Welcome! The network of friends here even stretches across the Atlantic. I'm sorry to hear about your cat's passing. It sounds like he lived out a full happy life in a loving home. My cat of 16 years also passed quietly during the night. It was his time. When I adopted a new kitten from the shelter, he knew just what to do to turn my frown upside down. I named him Costello. :)

Welcome to Goy, members come and go over the years as life takes it's twists and turns, but you will always get a friendly hello on here. I come back to GOY last year after a 2 year absence, I was still remembered and welcomed back into the fold.

Hello Sue. I'm sorry to hear about your cat. Loosing a pet is devastating.
People on here are very friendly, and most like animals too. So you'll probably enjoy it :)

Welcome from me as well Sue...
You will notice many of us have pets that share our lives and gardens, not always perfect in the garden especially when one of them prunes at the wrong time of the year, lol.....

Welcome once again Sue ! I don't usually go on sites online , but I'm so pleased I joined this one ! I have made and met some lovely friends . My cousin has lived in France, just on the outskirts of France all his adult life and will be 70 this year. As he is retired now, I have just got him interested in gardening, but doesn't get such extremes in the weather as you !
Happy Gardening !
