It’s a bit dull and overcast here today, but not to bad temp wise 7.6 Celsius seems odd saying that really :-). So I though today I’d put a few pics on thats flowering now in the garden.
A small group of N.jetfire nice and cheerful.
Glory of the snow always nice to see.
Wallflowers slowly opening, seed grown as normal for me..
A nice dark red hellebore that I saved, it’s slowly growing.
A nice surprise aubrietia starting to open.
Anemones starting to cheer up now it’s a bit warmer, although the wind here is bitter.
Striped squill little beauty I think.
A nice red sedum that grew on me, it rambles all around the rockery.
Euphorbia and prairie fire grass.
My confused prim, now doing a bit better bless it.
The white Christmas rose still going well.
And to finish its Millie……
Can’t wait for spring now as I’m getting fed up with the constant running nose and sneezing…. Bring on the warm weather… Thanks for looking and we wish you all a happy Easter, have fun every one…

Love that rambling sedum, think its the one I have too, also your hellebore is a beauty, well done for saving it.
My hellebore has had to come in as I think it was forced and kept inside.....it's hugely thirsty, needs to go in the ground ASAP!
Hi Millie!
Happy Easter to you SL.

Thanks Lulu. Good luck with the hellebore hope you get it in the ground soon. Happy Easter

I seem to have lost a lot of my smaller bulbs and anenomes, no signs of them, probably drowned last year, I hadn't realised how many have disappeared until seeing some of yours, my wallflowers are at the same stage and hellebores still going strong despite the weather so not all bad, I too am longing for some warmth but it is improving gradually, even though very cold at least we have sunshine and lighter nights...
Lovely to see your pics S'lad, nice one of Millie and Happy Easter to you and yours...

You have some lovely colour in your garden ,S.lad..some of mine are now visible, since we cleared the foot of snow off them..it amazes me how they survive under it all..but they do..even the flattened crocus's have perked up today !..looking forward to seeing my Jetfire daffs too..we are a bit behind you....but they will get there, eventually :o)
Lovely pic of Millie..is she a new member of your family ?

Lovely to see signs of Spring in your garden, SL. The hellebore is a beauty and the squill - never heard of that before, but very pretty. Think my fave would have to be Millie tho'. Was going to ask if she was a rescue dog as she's not a puppy but then you said she came from Batersea. Wish more people would give homes to animals from rescue centres - so many in need.
20 Apr, 2013
Thanks Tuesdaybear yes Millie is lovely we got our last dog from the rescue centre too.

Wallflowers look really interesting. Does Anemone have flowers now? IsnĀ“t it unusual? I think it is summer flower, or is this another sort? Lol - and who is Millie by the way? pssshh, I have feeling I know, but still - who is she?
