A walk to cool off!

The other day I put three large basket of pansies at the front of our small court as a cheery welcome for all my neighbours as they drove in. This morning when I looked out the front door some so and so had pinched one of them. :-(
Paul and I decided to go for a walk to improve my mood as it was such a lovely day. We had a 5 mile walk up and down the coast path at Osmington mills in Dorset. By the time we got back my mood had improved as I was so cream cracked to care any more about the basket!

A basket just like this one was taken

The start of the walk from the Smugglers Inn, I’m pointing to the way up.

Looking back from the clime up from the beach.

Stating to go up hill again

We spotted this deer

looking a lot happier, homeward stretch with a pie and a pint and the end.

Isn't that rotten! You try to do something nice and something like that happens! When we lived in Belfast, I put a manger up outside the front door to brighten the terrace up, and I had it for a whole two months before it was lifted off the wall! The man over the road had a tiny front garden, and 'they', on the same night, ripped every one of his lovely roses out and left them all over the road. And the worst thing was I knew who it was, but we couldn't do anything about it! That was a good way to blow off some steam as well!

You really deserved the pint and the pie, what rotten luck with one of the pansy baskets, I shall never understand the minds of people who do that. Many of my friends have had plants and pots and hanging baskets nicked, so far I've been lucky (hope have not opened my mouth too quick) anyway, lovely photos and that pub really looks inviting even from afar.

What a mean thing for someone to do - people are just so lazy and dishonest these days.

Your pics show some lovely views - how on earth did you manage that climb ? I couldn't even consider it !

Some people should be locked up!! What a nasty and mean spirited thing to do. I hope they get their just desserts.

You had a beautiful walk though. Gorgeous scenery and a treat at the end. Wonderful.

Why do some people have to do things like that???!!! Why can't they just enjoy instead of spoil! Glad you enjoyed your walk - lovely sea views.
