Hi All, a wet cold day here in Devon so no happy gardening for me. Just thought as you all showed such kind interest in my last blog I would show you a few steps in Photo’s of me making the cold porcelain carnations. The spray is part of a arrangement I am making for my lounge.

Really enjoyed that Teds. Thanks! It rained all day here yesterday and I started thinking about the long winter evenings ahead and I actually sat and practised my drawing!! Looking forward to actually DOING some painting this year rather than just talking about doing it! ;)

Knitting can very complicated Oliveoil and beautiful, I tried it once on some VERY LARGE! knitting needles, in plain stich and make a long scarf. It wasn't very good lol
The thought of winter Karern YUK, cold days and dark nights the garden all tucked up for winter. I don't mind once January is over and the snowdrops start to appear in the garden. I'm glad you are going to paint again your work is very good I will look forward to seeing it :-)
One carnation takes about 30m Steragram to make and dust with colour. It keeps me out of mischief lol

I have just discovered there are steam ploughing clubs in this country. Landscape and detail of engine make new inspiration for the coming winter.
They can be located via Google, should be one in Devon.
Must get out and sketch the landscapes while its still fine weather - hopefully.

There's an annual Bank Holiday vintage show in our village Diane, old style ploughing demos and sometimes traction engines. You'd enjoy it!
