My Allotment in January.

Apart from doing a bit of harvesting of winter greens there is nothing to do on the allotments at this time of the year.
If required, some greenhouse repairs might be needed, so this is a good time to do this, that is; when they are empty.

That is my plot (plot 1) on the right with the white strip (fleece) as is the plot below it (plot 2)
Brussels Sprouts – Maximus;
Leeks – Musselburgh;
Japanese Onions;
In process of erecting the temporary benches I fix in place for when I fetch plants from home to harden off!;

i would love an allotment but non in the area and the local council are dragging their heels in providing them.
plenty of greenhouse space too.
