Another day!!

So, another day at The Manor !!! Thats what i call it anyway, surrounded by such wonderful plants and flowers. Got here at 7am ,made a brew, and then got cracking with it !!! I only spend 3 days a week here, and my business partner, Dan, supplies staff for 3 days as well. Fortunately for me he owns a nursery so is well equipped to not only supply stock but also qualified, enthusiastic personnel. This is a great plus for me, especially with Hort College just around the corner. Also useful is to team up once a week as some jobs do need 2 people, (e.g. ivy needs cutting desperately this month). Thursdays though, i get the garden all to myself !!
So, a bit of lawn cutting today, and i took some pics. The Weeping Ash Lawn is special, as this is the main lawn at the rear of the house. Have recently been feeding it and the change is great. Stripes of green, not yellow and brown!!! And DEATH to the clover !!!
Pretty much left the main lawn alone today. I got the ride-on mower back on Monday, gave its first decent cut in 7 weeks, so it not looking its best just yet. Heres what it looked like last wednesday when i cut it with the 21in Honda !!

Lawns looking good....
..what's your advice, please, for eradicating clover from the grass ?

The best chemical free advice is to cut it just a little bit twice or three times a week. That way it shouldnt have time to reproduce and the grass will push its way back in,.. and maybe just feed the lawn as well... Sorry... still learning myself !?!

Ah - there's the weeping ash - it looks quite a young one. We have two - one is ancient and coming to the end of its life, the other must be about 25 years old.

Wow.....that must have taken a while with a 20" Honda. You must have walked miles. Looks great.
