The Dell
4 comments
Ok, so for one section of the garden at the top left corner i have not put any photos up yet! The Dell. This has been designed to accomodate plants that can grow as big as they like to cause a sort of jungle-like atmosphere. It has several bamboo plants of different colours including Phyllostachys Nigra which i really love. It is also adorned with several different types of hosta, various cordylines(of which some have sadly died because of the snow), and a twisted willow, and lots of other plants that i am still learning the names of !!
Unfortunately at present there is no picture of the Entrance to the Dell but i hope to put one up this week. Some palms have also recently been added which i MUST get on film for you, and as you can see these pictures were taken in Spring (Daffodils) from the previous year (2008) …lol…back soon!

Lovely area. I do like the little platform seating spot - what a great place for some peace and quiet.
