A Nursery, a work in progress.

I am in the process of taking on part of a nursery, the whole thing is too big for me.
It has been used for breeding and selling Hemerocallis for a lot of years but the previous man has given up due to illness.
The collection was over 800 day lillies plus quite a few herbaceous perennials, all of which had years of weed growth.
He took the parent plants but left me the rest and I have been cleaning them of weeds, or trying to, but some had brambles going round until they had split the pots.
A polytunnel that needs recovering plus one with shading are more than enough for me, with a few hours each day weeding.
Lots of the Day lillies are named and although they have never been my favourite plants I can’t wait to see them in flower.
To be continued (I hope)

My word, you've taken on something there! Are you tackling it all single handed? Don't get too busy to show us some progress pictures as you tackle it!

Thank you all for your comments. The 800 was the number of parent plants, a big collection. Not sure how many of the "babies" I have but it runs to hundreds.
