Building the little fence in 2006

To break up the garden into sections I decided to put a flower bed right across the lawn. The girls and I used old pallets to build the fence.
The end result…
……….. and how we did it.
Katie and Becca are both dab hands with the tools.
Notice Buffy helpfully sitting on the old washing line cover that Becca is trying to cut up! We stapled this to the little sections to make a flexible strip of fencing to go around the corner.
We then put stakes in behind them and nailed them together.
Then it was a case of placing the conifers just right. Three fussy girls together meant there was a lot of discussion about this lol.
I decided to stay behind the camera and let them get on with it!
