Busy in the garden and Garden show on Saturday.

Ive been making the most of the dry weather on Monday and today.
Having gone to RHS Wisely on Sunday and having a fantastic day out with my wife, sister and brother in law. We ended up in the plant centre, as you always do and came home with a few newbies.
A couple more succulants were bought by my wife along with another Jasmin, I bought a Gaura and my sister treated me to a smaller one.
Of course where do they go!
I had mentioned the other day to my wife that we need to loose a bit more lawn and make two of the beds slightly bigger. Well now we had a reason. Her Jasmin had a planned home already along with her new succulants, but my two new purchases need somewhere to go and now I had an excuse. But obviously they would look lost on there own so I popped out thismorning and bought another Dahlia Twynings after dark, Coreopsis Limerock Ruby, Euphorbia Blackbird (it was reduced to half price), and a Tiarella Iron Butterfly.
Now the pics, the first was taken on July 31st.
And this one was taken today.
Its only the bed to the left of the arch and the one to the right. They have both been enlarged and curved to fit the path a bit better and neater.
All the other plants you can see in front of the table and bench are for our plant sale at the Garden club summer show.
I’m hoping there will be other plants bought to the selling table on the day but these are the ones from my garden.
The show is on Saturday the 8th, my Tomateos are still green and my Dahlias are not even playing. I have a few beans, apples and pot plants to enter, but not to say know I shall be baking a fruit cake a coffee and walnut cake and some ginger biscuits.
I shall not hold my breath as there are some experianced cake makers entering but it is to show that if I can do it, then anyone can.

Thanks for the comments. I want to do something more with the right hand side of the garden but I have to convince my wife she dosent need so much lawn first.

Ask her to cut the grass T&T. That should do the trick. Lol

Grindle, my borders are widening more and more also !!!!
I think we've all got the same thoughts :)))

I do like the new shape of the borders particularly the way the edge of the left hand bed echoes the line of the right hand path. The new planting looks so established - great.
