Gardening all day.

Well its now 6.20pm and I have been outside all day busying myself with lots of little jobs.
I have just taken these pics to show you how it all looks at the moment, today the 8th April 2010.
We moved into this house and garden in June 06. It was all lawn. Since then we have added beds, paths and little interesting bits along with lots of plants.
Some of you might remember my blog on laying this path around the lower part of the garden, they were all put in individually by yours truly, when my wife was away on a works trip.
The gate was an £11.00 ebay bargin.
These wiggly, rusty plant supports were bought on a visit to Chelsea a couple of years ago. They have Sweetpeas planted at the base and they will also have my black runner beans grown up them.
The arch was bought from Tescos direct last May. The lupins are supported by my own home made plant supports made out of willow from my willow dome.
Hope you enjoy looking at my pics. I’m a sucker for plant fairs, car boots and recycling.
Enjoy your gardens.

i absolutely love this garden! Its like a little secret garden, especially with that cheeky little gate! we want to put a door on our lovely back wall to make it look like we have a secret garden. The plants and features go so well together and make the garden extra special. if ever there were garden fairies, they'd live in your garden lol :)

Emmaj, there are faries in the garden. You will have to type fairy doors into the search box to find them.
Megan, its about 60ft to the hedge with the gate. There is then the veg patch on the over side and it drops down further to the wildlife pond, compost heaps and the wood that it backs onto.
Theres lots of other bits and bobs in the garden. Some little stone statues, a window in the hedge with a wind chime and lots and lots of plants.
