I know a few of you know that Carol Klein is not my favourite gardener – a bit too overenthusiastic for my taste! But Friday’s programme was the best programme of the whole series!!!!! If you didn’t watch it I would recommend ‘digging’ it up on I Player (sorry about that, lol).

Hope I’m not banging on too much about it but I LOVED IT!!!

No I didn't watch for the same reason as Homebird, she really puts me off. It's not only the over enthusiasm but the voice too.....

Thank you for flagging this up, Wagger and whoever else mentioned it earlier this weekend.
I have just watched this on IPlayer and found it to be very interesting. The thing to remember is that this is television and is there to entertain, but there was still a lot of good stuff in there. The one thing that I would like is to shoot the cameraman!!! Some great shots but far too much artistry for an informative program. I found this to be very distracting.
And Carol Klein isn't all bad - she doesn't like 'doubles' in her flowers either!

I'll have to watch it on the iplayer. I usually do. In Wales we have to endure the dreaded rugby every Friday night for many hours. I never put the * thing on ! :o((

Well I like Carol tremendously and as for Fridays programme I think it was great.Must admit that being an amateur I have recorded it so that I can watch it again and take it all in.
With her on one thing much prefer singles to doubles.

Make mine a double every time, Stroller - a nice single malt will do nicely, lol.
She's not quite so overpowering all the time in this programme, Lily2 - try a few minutes of it and see what you think.

OK then Wagger, maybe I'll give it a go. :o)

i like the dogs, so cute, i think they are lakeland terriers Karensue but all the pictures i have found on the internet are not exactly the same, Carols seem cuter, also loved the programme and recorded all episodes!

Watched them all and enjoyed them all, personally I like Carols exuberance, after all she is a passionate gardener, like me, and if you saw me on film (have just watched myself and OH, taken by the Japanese) you would most probably turn off your telly lol sorry I just dont do half-hearted.

She's always SO busy I wonder how she finds the time to water all those pots scattered everywhere - does she have a secret gang of fairies at the bottom of the garden?

Most probably.....I have lol

"When the first baby laughed for the first time, the laugh broke into a thousand pieces and they all went skipping about, and that was the beginning of fairies. And now when every new baby is born its first laugh becomes a fairy. So there ought to be one fairy for every boy or girl."

Where's mine?????
