Out To Lunch!!!

My OH was home early this week (he works away) so he said he would take me out for a fish & chip lunch. Nice of him I thought, even nicer as our favourite sit down chippy takes us past 2 lovely GCs!
I waited til his belly was full & he was happy & content then as we left the carpark I quitely mentioned how nice it would be to have a stroll after lunch. If you like he said – That was it straight to the first GC – 2 packets of seeds, Bird feeder, 2m Cloche, Garden clock & Thermometre later & it was on to the second – 6 packets of seeds, 3 bags of tree compost, 2 pairs of Gloves, 2 Agapanthus, Very large plastic tray, 12m soil warming cable & im pushing my luck now, so off for home we set. I think we must of been about half way home when it sunk in & my OH realised he’d been mugged of his hard earned cash. So back at home “Put your feet up love & have a snooze, I will pour you a JD & coke”.
When he wakes up all will be forgiven, Until the next time!

That also sounds perfect to me. Fish & Chips YUM! 1 GC is very nice, but 2 GCs with Fish & Chips is a dream come true.

and to think it used to be that your woman would decline a portion of chips (with slimming excuse) only to then steal yours (chip by chip), but this is shameless ; )

Andrewr I did read the 'Good wife guide' & had a good chuckle Ha Ha.
Steviethete I need to be big & strong to lift all my purchases round the garden! Plus you need abit of padding when its this cold outside.

my oh will after a couple of trips round atojumbles etc feel guilty and take me out for a drive past several good gc's. he once did drive past for a laugh, he did turn round and take me back.
he will usually say 'if you like it get it, are you sure one will be enough?'

Absolutely brilliant. What more can you ask fish and chips + 2 GCs, sounds like my idea of fun lol. Brilliant work on OH management, sounds like you've got it down to a fine art. Whats your secret?? lol

Hi, welcome to GOY \0/ Is that an affenpinscher?? is it yours? Couldn't quite tell as pic small. They must have been really good fish and chips to get him to buy all those, sounds like a perfect day out:-)

Hi Bornagain yes it is an Affenpinscher & yes he is mine, Carmichan Willinilli, Willi for short or William when he is naughty! I have another 2 Ralf & Lucy & a Bearded Collie, Freddie. 2 cats, 2 rats, Tortoise & a few fish.

I've never seen or heard of an Affenpinscher before but he is very cute! As for the mugging of OH...I am sooooo impressed. There's no way in this world I would get away with that. Most of my plant purchasing has to be done on line in a well sneaky sort of way and any GC visits have to be done during footie or golf at the weekends! lol :)) Nice one Willinilli!

Hi Karen I do that too & when he says "oh thats new" I reply "you never take notice, I've had that ages", Lol.
Affenpinschers are a German breed hence "Willi" & "Ralf" I rescued Lucy so didnt have a choice in her name. They are not terriers although Affenpinscher translates as Monkey Terrier. I have posted a blog as a reply to TT Gorilla Suit Day. x

fish and chips for lunch then hit the Garden Centers what could be better than that, and you got some good buys to keep you busy in the garden...have fun!!
