I've been naughty..... again!!!

Ohhh Dear, I have been and gone and done it again!, spent a fortune at the garden center this morning and then I came home for a cup of tea and couldnt resist another trip out and then oops I did it again!!! lol
I know I was meant to be gardening on this glorious day but I couldnt stop wondering what was on offer at the garden centre and I am glad really. They were selling stone (composit) planters and benches for £10 each. I just had to!! I bought a bench and six pots!!! The bench was £25 I think, and I desperately need things like this to fill the garden out and to make different levels and points of interest. (thats my excuse) I asked wizzy if he would mind eathing one less can of dog food this week and he said OK, allbeit reluctantly!!! Thank goodness really that I dont need to justify my spending to anybody other than my dog ! I also bought some plants, I will list them later, i’m really pleased with them.
After my cuppa I went to Focus Diy, it is very local, just about three miles away and I regularly go and check to see what they have reduced!! The gardener doesnt know what hes doing lol, i have got such wonderful bargains there today!! I want to go back lol!!! Somebody STOP ME please lol.

No Lynne you have NOT BEEN NAUGHTY !!!
I'm afraid that you suffer from the same addiction that the majority of us suffer from.... and it's a love of plants!!! There is unfortunately no cure or medication currently available but......
the only known remedy (and it gives short term relief), is to plant your plants and enjoy them. Then decide where your new planters will be located to enhance your garden setting, then finally sit down on your new garden seat and enjoy all your creative efforts!!! Well done...... you've had a great day.
Best wishes,
Grenville.

Me too lynne, I would have done the same today, except I could not, because I promised to take my foster child to see Wall-E. Wondering what I could have been doing if I were home. But Wall-E was enjoyable though.

I'm not sure what type of fern it is because It had no label, (another bargain) lol. but it looks like it will be a big one with lovely colour, its qiuite dark, and once again, when I have planted it i will take a photo.

Sounds like you had a wonderful time. We wandered round the local village market today, but I couldn't see anything on the plant stalls that I had not got. Never mind we consoled ourselves with a visit to te coffee shop.
