Hi everyone, thank you for your welcoming comments. I have added some pictures as requested, I will put more on later. Thought you might like to know that when we moved to Wales in 2005 we sold our modern semi in Kent with a postage size garden on a housing estate, and bought out current cottage + 3 acres for exactly the same money. Jobs are harder to find here and the wages are lower but so is the cost of living, our quality of life is at least 200% better than it was in Kent, we grown most of our own vegetables, have our own eggs, and meat (Lamb, Mutton, Pork, Bacon and Poultry) We are still learning about rural life and I think we always will be. When we came here it was just the 2 of us, then our grown up son decided he wanted to join us, and later due to ill health my elderly parents came too, it’s just like the “Waltons” 3 generations in one home and loving it.
