Leaves

Hi
This is my 1st Blog ever!
Cleaned out one of the chicken houses today and put the muck on to an empty raised bed. The poo will stay there throughout the winter so that it mellows a bit before it is dug in during the spring.
Swept up 2 barrow loads of fallen leaves and put them on the floor of the hen house, the girls loved scratching in them. Will leave them in there for a couple of weeks, then the leaves will go on to the leaf mould pile to rot down and I will collect some more newly fallen ones for the girls.
If the weather is fine tomorrow I hope to be able to pick some more raspberries.
