Today

Unfortunately I have not been out on the land today, but my hubby has.
Today Barry the Badger Face Ram has been introduced to his ladies, he will be with them for 6 to 8 weeks by which time he will probably need a little rest. His friend Sherbert the White Welsh Ram has been with his girls for 3 weeks already, he has lost a little weight but still looks very happy.
Sherberts babies should start arriving around the 3rd of February and Barrys around 23rd March, the gap gives us time to catch our breath, we only have 28 breading ewes how farmers with hundreds of sheep cope I will never know.
Anyway garden wise today Clive has been harvesting veg for the Country Market tomorrow, we are sending: Carrots, Leeks, Curly Kale, Beetroot and Onions. If I have time in the morning I will cut some Chrysanthemums and bunch them to sell as well.
Mum is sending 2 pots of Begonia (Tigers Paw) she has one very big plant which every so often she splits, pots up and makes more plants.
By the sound of the wind outside tomorrow will be sweeping up leaves again!!
