My daughter and her friend booked to visit River Cottage last Saturday, it cost them £14.50 entry Fee which for a full day is good value, she telephoned Saturday evening to tell us what a wonderful day they had, she met Tim the chef, the butcher from Hughes television programmes, she met John Wright the hedge man, she liked him very much and bought his book, she said there all things in it that you can pick and use all year round, they went to the village of Axminster to Hughes Deli and canteen for their breakfast, £2.50 for a fresh tea cake and bacon sandwich with coffee, she said she thought it would be rather expensive place to visit and was amazed at just how cheap they were selling stuff for, she is thinking of taking me in June as one of my 65th birthday presents but have to see if I am walking better by then as she did say it was hard work, there is a tractor to give people a lift, I am going to add the photos for you all to see, I hope you enjoy looking,

Great Yorks, been out in the garden all day. That looks lovely. I think I shall be going down there in the summer, trying to persuade my sister to come with me. Not far for me to go either.

I thought it would cost an arm and a leg to go as some of these places cost so much to visit. I'm so pleased that it is within the scope of most people to visit and will check the website for other deals although it is a little far away for me.
Hope you have a super day when you go later on.

google it Sandy, you have to choose carefully as some visits can be expensive, I should have said look at events, my daughter was given a feed back paper which she filled in saying that her Mum would be 65 this year and she wants to take her in the summer as her mum would love it, she also wrote that I had written a blog and added all her photos on Grows on you
