FLYING FLOWERS

Im sorry your flowers where such a disappointment ,it is always nice to get flowers, but birthday ones are realy special, my daughter sent me some for mothers day one year when she couldnt get home and i said not to tell her that they where nearly dead,but she found out and was angry with me for not telling her, I hope you had a nice birthday ,reguardless of the flowers birthday hugs vabascum

so sorry to hear about your flowers..it's shocking isn't it!!I really don't know how these people say they run a business..let's hope everyone is warned now at least :)

Yorkshire I would want to know, afterall if your sister thinks you were pleased with them she could use them again.

I think you're right to complain and I would complain again. There are people all over the world who fly exotic flowers as gifts. Perhaps this is a rogue company or they just don't know what they're doing. I think you should tell your sister too...after all, she sent you the flowers to make you happy not to upset you...

Val: I think you tell your sister the flowers were really nice, but that the experience you had with "Flying Flowers" doesn't warrant using them again. It's really sad when family make a special effort whilst away from home to ensure you have a lovely gift.

I don't think they are worth 20 pounds either! You do right to complain, maybe you could just say to your sister they were nice but didn't last long?

If I'd sent them to a friend or relative, Val, I'd be very disappointed to know the shape they arrived in! Just say they were a gorgeous colour, which is true, but they didnt travel too well! : o )

I'm sorry you had such a disappointment. Some places are just hopeless. I would want to know if I'd sent someone something like this, but that's how I am. You know your sister best.

Thanks for your comments/advice, I am going to mail my sister and explain to her, I just don't want her wasting money with Flying Flowers,

I've used Interflora both whilst living in Gran Canaria and UK and have always been impressed with them. I always use the internet and have had flowers sent to several part of the UK using different florist and I don't know of any of my family and friends being disappointed with their flowers.

I should be disappointed if they have been and not told me. I don't believe in using people twice if their service is rubbish and I would certainly let others know about it as well

There are almost certainly other good suppliers out there as I'm sure other GOYER's will broadcast.

Thanks Grannyb, I have just received another email from Flying Flowers and they apologised once again and are for the 2nd time going to send a replacement bouquet, I have thanked them and asked that they send an alternative as I don't feel the Orchids are a suitable cut flower, I will keep you all updated,
