Hello everyone.
We have just returned from a week in Ilfracombe, weather not good but made a week away, we went to Chambercombe Olde Manor Farm, this is a haunted house, did we think it was haunted, YES, unfortunately we were not allowed to take any photos so I have just put two on of the building taken from outside, it would take me far to long to tell you the story of the place, we went to Rosemoore Gardens, absolutely fantastic, could have spent a day there, the gardens were beautiful, we also had a day trip to the ancestal home of Sir Francis Chichester, we looked around the old house then went to view all the old coaches they had there, it was great, there was a gold carriage, The speaker of the House of Commons Carriage that last time used was for Charles and Diana on their wedding day, this was the first time it had ever been out of London, again no photo’s allowed. hope you enjoy my photo’s
Guess who left their handbag on the garden seat,!!!
Our morning coffee at the haunted house, scones and fresh cream with Strawberries,
Rosemoor Gardens
Just one of my favourite photo’s
The colours of the flowers were quite incredible,
The House of the Chichester family, and two of the carriages

Glad you enjoyed your break Yorks. Lovely pictures, love that very old carriage too. I have been to Rosemoor quite a few times, but not for about ten years now, so it was lovely to see it. Its really lovely there if you get a nice day isnt it.

That looks a grand place, although I don`t think I could stay in a place thats supposedly haunted, even though I am always fascinated to hear the stories and history of them.
Your Photo`s are lovely Yorkshire, thankyou for sharing and pleased you enjoyed it....
Rosemoor Gardens look absolutely lovely and I would love to see those carriages and of course visit the Chichesters house...
I`ve just checked the ghost story out.....

Hi Yorkie...this takes me back! We did exactly the same trip a year or two back!! Loved it at Rosemoor and have been to Chambercombe at least 4 times, its Ken's favourite place. Shame they didnt let you take pictures..they must have changed their rules, cos I took lots the last time.
I see you managed to see things between the showers! I love the white carriage horses at Arlington..they are beauties.
