Man im worn out...

This little guy was hanging on for dear life, he was there for hours.. Something wore him out lol..
Giving me the beady eye ;)
Ive had a few problems this year, if its not slugs attacking my plants its disease,..Rust on the Gunnera, And white powder on one of my clematis Puh..
These are just in flower now and they smell gorgeous..
A couple of rare sunshine pics..
This was taken last month, 2 Clematis should be growing up the fence! A lovely red and purple (misplaced the labels) the purple one flowered at about a foot high, and the red one climbed the fence but produced no flowers, thats the last time i buy 2 for a tenner at B&Q :)
My 2 calla Lillie’s havent flowered either, And The slugs devoured another climber just after planting, So the lack of Colour in this border is Obvious..
Ive uploaded this pic 3 times! its panoramic in the original and it keeps uploading like this…
I took this yesterday, The daliah has flowered, as beautifull as ever, and i placed a pot of Montbrecia (Lucifer) there for colour…
And errrr, no im not here, ive become invisible hehe…
When the sunshine comes back (yeah right) ill take pics and write a blog about my front garden.. You wont believe what happened there :)

Lovely photos of a lovely garden Ydd. Maybe the poor Mr. Bumble was drunk! I have seen them get drunk of Lamb's Ears , (the flowers).
Your garden looks very colourful, very nice.

poor little bee-- hope it was ok, It has been an odd year all round, we keep getting huge banks of black cloud which come to nothing or only rain in small area!, I see you have a 'little gem' shyly appearing in the undergrowth :0)))

I never thought of that Mad! I like to think he was :) I was a bit worried he maybe was Dying or injured...thanx for the comments..
I was babysitting Pamg, he played this game a 100 times and giggled as if it was the first, every time, lol..

Fantastic photos of the Bee especially ! I asked the question why a Bee was hanging on to the spur of an Aquilegia & was informed that Bumble Bees bite into corolla tubes & floral spurs to obtain nectar. Maybe your little Bee was tired out from the effort !

That close up of the bee is amazing....I found one on top of an Echinacea yesterday - he sat there quite still for ages! I wondered if he was stuck...maybe he wasn't after all....:-))

Ahhhh Shirley, mystery explained, ive seen a few *slow* bee's around, the last couple of days, i just thought they were dying off now...
Thanks Spritz, it took about 50 shots to get a decent pic, i was that close i could see his *tongue* no wonder he was looking at me funny...I was thinking of one of my sisters when i was taking the pics, she would of been running around the garden hysterical lol..

Perhaps it was a good thing that the bee was stuck on the plant and not on your little peek-a-boo boy.
Your garden is looking quite stunning, a real credit.

One of my Clematis has a bit of white powder too. I decided it must be too much rain. The rest of the garden looks great!

I've enjoyed reading your blog, quite refreshing. Your garden is a beautiful little haven with plenty of light, colour and interest though it must be bigger than it looks to accommodate that Gunnera. I hope your little friend has recovered by now. You've framed the last pic beautifully.

This is amazing - hey your garden is wonderful a typical English style garden - love the area you must spend a lot of time sitting or at least wanting to sit at the table with a cuppa enjoying the fruits of your labour. Poor little bee - hope its OK. At time we get them very slow so if we can we put some sugar water out for them - it helps sometimes...! Love your photos. We have a spring festival in September (Australia) so will post some of the photos I take.

I forgot to add, we have had hundreds of lovely sweet plums from the plum tree, and strawberries from the hanging baskets, the Toms are slow, again, and the Miniature apple and pear tree's havent even blossomed yet!
