Succulents..

I know there are quite a few of you who grow succulents, arent they lovely? I have been searching for planting design ideas and came up with some fabulous ideas, I bought quite a few last year for my big pot and they have survived in the G/house (yay) Ive been looking at online cactus nurseries tonight and placed a small order of mixed succulents, a couple of trailing ones included…

A few ideas im planning on copying (ish) I like the idea of pots on tables and also in hanging baskets..

Here go’s. enjoy..

They're all lovely added to my faves too :-), like the idea of the baskets the fact you wouldn't have to be a slave to watering them twice a day makes them even more appealing:-)

Plenty of inspiration there, although judging by what you've already achieved, your pretty much in the same league.

Some great ideas, my OH is in charge of the pots and he has done some of the ones in your pics, they do look good grouped, we also bought a book on designing with succulents, some good ideas to be found there too.
I like your big pot, stunning selection YDD..... we have to bring ours inside unfortunately, and they take up so much room.....keep the pics coming please.

Superb photo's and great ideas. I love the hanging boxes full and the troughs with the beaded hanging plants. I have had these in the past, but never managed to get them to look so good.
Was tempted to buy one at one of the garden centres a couple of weeks ago, but the beads looked so sad and almost dead that I resisted the temptation. I often buy a poor plant that looks as if it needs rescuing, but only if its cheap!
Some of the designs about are stunning, but usually in better climates than jolly old wet England.

Thanks Sandra, DD and Honeysuckle..

I have admired your hubs pots in the past DD promising myself one day i will do the same :) The time has come lol

Do you mean the long trailing plants honeysuckle, I looked for them on ebay last year, are they "string of pearls" i got the impression they are quite tender, if we are talking about the same plant :) i would love some..
