Well done you, keep those bargins coming. I bought a black bamboo the other year, since then I have chopped one runner off and it now lives in a pot, so I now have two. Are they box balls by the way?

Makes us feel good to get a bargain, nothing sweeter than plant shopping in spring and saying, i bought that for half the price :))
Im glad you mentioned the Bamboo TT, i was going to keep it in a pot, i just didn't know how invasive this bamboo was, thanks..yes there box balls in the pots, cuttings from my very own hands hahaha...Dee..

It does send out runners but it's not too invasive. It's quite well behaved. I just let a piece grow a little then I chopped it off and put it in a pot. It has grown some more since being in the pot.

Plus there are always friends that would love some if it through out to many new bits.

Well done to you ,isnt it great to get a bargain, do watch the black bamboo we had ours in a pot, then transferred to the garden where it went mad, obviously liked the moist soil, it can creep a long way!!

About a mile south from the metro centre Arlene..Hub says, Teams valley slip road heading for Lamsley (sp) You will pass the horse stables, go straight up that road, its on the left, you think your going up a country lane with fields, All of a sudden you see Huge greenhouses through the trees, There is a big Sign, Silverhills, the best kept secret in the Northeast :)) Good Luck...

Hi BB, Spring/summer is a great time to visit, I found the Plants much cheaper than other GCs Nurseries, Also the pots are Brilliant, Half price, even in Summer, Bedding plants great prices too..I just found out about it this year, I usually go to B&Q but they dont cater for serious gardeners.. Ooooh listen to me :) you know what i mean Peeps.. Dee..

Wonderful! Am glad that you get bargains, too! And, it works! But, just wonder why the whole set was got rid of for just one seat? I'm too Scottish to do that! Just invite one less person round, and save on the food and drink, too!
Or, even better, invite one less person, and have more for yourself! Hee, hee!
