Thanks everyone .. yes this is white Ray / Jane .. .. I have had it for a long time and couldn't remember it's full name ..
I think this is in exactly the right spot San because it thrives here , I daren't plant anything else near it for fear of upsetting it , I'm hoping it will get bigger and have more ' Tails ' each year .. . the root part is almost like a giant spider which you spread out on the ground with hardly any cover of soil over it ...it likes sun / shade and plenty of water in dry weather , which it hasn't had lately ...

Isn't that strange , I've only ever seen white ones Ray / Jane ...I shall be keeping my eyes open for the yellow variety from now on :o)

E.stenophyllis is latin name - had to look it up of course - for yellow one so perhaps a seperate variety to the others ?

I've been looking it up as well ' E. bungei ' it looks lovely .. ... apparently there's also one called E.robustus which grow 8ft tall with pale peach flowers sounds amazing . . I will look that up on Google ..!

I really envy you these Eremerus, I planted 3 last year and lost 2 and the other one got damaged before it could develop.I am inspired to try again seeing your lovely plants.

Thanks Paul.. I bought a new one a couple of weeks ago , it's a peach colour and called ' Romance ' I've planted it near this one as it obviously suits it in this spot , I shall look forward to seeing how it does next year . :-)
