Hi Dd, have only just caught up with this, but heartiest congrats to you and your OH, it is wonderful news!!! We are in Wilts, so like Cinders, not too far from Hampshire, as would love to see your great garden when you open it up to the public :~))

Thanks Flori and Cinders we would be delighted to see you both, it would be great fun, it does have to be next year, as it takes some time to set it all up in the book, you apply one year and then your entered in the next year.

Just to clarify - garden owners submit their opening date(s) in September this year for next year's book. The info is then processed by county and passed to Head Office who then collate it all and send it off for printing. The book should appear in shops next March with County booklets appearing in Garden Centres soon after (dependant on volunteers taking them out)

I shall have to make a decision then, the garden is constantly changing, what looks brilliant now will look awful next week and so on.....decisions, decisions......

How did I miss this Dd???? Belated congratulations to you both for all your hard work and dedication....you must be so excited and nervous about it all! Well done...if only you were closer........
