SAY GOODBYE TO THE BOG GARDEN.....

Hope you have made provision for your Frog it is one of your best friends.

Oh he looks so sad. His playground has gone. I am sure it will all be lovely again soon DD. I don't blame you for moving it all, as there wasnt room there for large plants. Hope the weather will stay fine for you to finish.

Oh bless froggie all covered in weed, keep him safe Dd. I wonder what you are going to plant there now? Look forward to photos.

BJS we have done, Cinders it was such a shame because it looked lovely even six months ago, but the area is so small, and we did have far too many plants in.......as usual!!
GM not sure we keep changing our minds.......when we emptied the pond he must have gone off in a huff!!

Mr Frog is no doubt watching from a safe distance to see where his new home is going to be, it did look nice and no doubt will in the future, will be watching out to see what you decide on Dd, I think you just cannot sit still, lol....

I'm sure you will come up with something clever Angela you always do , I don't know what happened to our frogs once we built the new higher pond I don't know if they could get up that high ,I shall have to make them a ladder !!

Amy. they can get trapped I found one in a water butt the water was several inches from the top and it had no way to propel its self out,so ended up floating a piece of wood as a platform, he was out in no time.

Ah poor little thing , makes you wonder how they leap up that high in the first place Brian , I suppose water will always attract them , I'm going to have a closer look at ours tomorrow ! I've always felt sorry for frogs ever since my neighbour told me how they kill frogs to eat as frog legs it made me feel sick !

Amy we have one or two ideas, but most of them involve raising the pond, I wondered about some sort of platform, as we would not like a garden without them.....

We have been pleased with the raised pond we put in this summer Angela ,it's nice to watch the fish without getting down on your hands and knees LoL I thought one of them was dead the other day it stayed where it was for ages in the end I poked it with a piece if grass it still didn't move I then poked it with a bigger stick this time it swam off ,it had been sunbathing in a patch of sun :o)

Great disguise isn't it Fran? Amy , it certainly is a lovely pond, I dont think ours will be as grand as that.....

aww poor froggy Dotty, shame about having to crap this area but totally understand, froggy can come and live here if he wants lol :o))
