Had some well received rain last night and this morning, moved a few shrubs yesterday, always happy when it rains them in……
Just a few pics for you…….
The Clematis is Freckles, so many more freckles on her this year!! the hot summer who knows?
We had a couple of frosts which took several flowers from our Arbutus, never happened before, the pure shock I would imagine!
I hope you enjoy the photographs, as much as I enjoy taking them……

photos are stunning , mind you with the subject matter it wouldn't be difficult. the rain often enhances foliage doesn't it?

Never seen that Clematis, DD. Love it. We haven't had success with clematis except this year when we had some lovely bloom.

I didn't recognise it as a clematis, doh! Didn't help that the pic came out sideways -Thought it must be something really exotic...
The garden's still looking good - lovely shapes and colours and everything still looking so lush and healthy.

What is the plant at the base of the round Box ( if it is Box)? Love the pic of the rain splashed Euphorbias. All looking lovely.

Yes I wondered what that was Feverfew...such a contrast with the box! Wonder if it's an Echinops?

Feverfew and Janey it's a Purple milk thistle (Galactites tomentosa) haven't seen it for about 5 years, then 3 popped up this year!
Thanks Stera, the Clematis is growing that way!! it's not the photo lol!!
Eirlys pleased you like the Clematis, it's a good doer here!!
Janey and Sheila the red leafed plant is a Vitis Vinifera Purpurea..... always stunning at this time of the year...
Thanks Karen and Seaburn, and everyone for all your kind comments about the garden....
