Could not believe my eyes…….all this was taken from our garden room.!!!
Tuppence the black cat, was in fact more interested in the big ginger tom (hidden from view) who made a sudden dash at the pheasant, and that’s when I had to intervene……..!!!

This ginger tom would tackle a charging rhino!!!!

Having been in a car when it was charged by a rhino at a safari park, he's braver than me - I nearly had to have a change of underwear!!!

i thought i was the only one who misunderstood things like that.....lol

Me too!, Viv. This one's obviously feeling safer risking the cats than the guns.

Excellent blog Dotty, the captions really made me laugh. Goodness knows what would have happened if you hadn`t intervened. I remember Jake chasing one across a field and it was one of the funniest things I`ve ever seen, I never knew that pheasants have all the grace of an elephant when they fly...lol! :o))

Gee i had to giggle when you said about rhino hahaha

Lol, great blog DD, such funny birds aren't they always seem to run rather than fly, we used to have a ginger cat that lived near us Fudge(our lab) was petrified of it, he'd hide behind me if we ever saw it on a walk, lol.

Nice one Sandra, they are such beautiful birds - well the male is - yet so stupid when you`re driving in the country they always seem to be walking in the road. Perhaps the`re adrenalin junkies and like a bit of danger. Bet he wouldn`t have liked it if that cat had come out.

Brilliant...tripping the light fantastic !!

Lovely Blog Dd...How vain this bird looks! just strutting around, not a care
in the world...Loved your captions, so funny, it really is a tonic, having a good
laugh..... cannot blame the cats for wanting to chase this character, just
prancing up and down in front of them like a decoy! LOL

great photos DD, we get a lot of them around here, and they really are dozy birds LOL

We dont expect to get a bird like this at the seaside, so what he was doing in our garden is a complete mystery, as you all say lovely to look at but a bit dim.........still it brightened the day lol, thanks for all your amusing comments.

He reminds me of Tim 'Nice but Dim' (Harry Enfield).
