Jacky one of our boys is only 6mths old and when we first brought him home I used the waterproof puppy mats and they were a great help with his training..........

Lincslass. I bought some warerprof puppy mats but she hasn't got the message yet, I even sprayed the mat to entice her on it too.
Ha! This morning I sprayed the news paper to entice her on that but she trotted all round the edge and done no.2s on the viynl lay and then in the lounge while I had my back turned but she will learn hopefully lol.

That's why I posted it Ladyesses1, they do look alike even though Barnaby is a Lhasa Apso. At any age they're so alike. Sadly I didn't have a digital camera when he was a puppy but I've made up for it lol. Pebbles is a perfect name but I'll bet he'll acquire nicknames. I'm not too keen on the name Barnaby but he has other names. Sometimes I call him 'Darcy' cos when he does that determined walk, he 'bussel's along. Ps can we see more pickies?

I looked up about Shih tzu puppy's and found out too late that the Breaders shouldn't of let her leave her Mum till at least 8wks old also that it illigal too, sure hope she will be ok, she seems to be alright, she is very bright, playful, sleeps and plays alot and doesn't cry to much + she eats well, (Chicken& Rice),( Bakers Complete 2in1 Puppy Gravy Bites) and we add water to it, will get some Lamb & Beef Mince & Fish as well,, the breaders told us not to give her pork or milk, we give her lots of love and cuddles. I'm going to ring a vets near me this week and have her checked over also see about her having her injections.

So glad you're taking her to the vet, most important. I understand about the 'cuddles' they're so soft with pink paws. I watched a programme on TV this morning about RSPCA one case was about some kittens sold at 4 weeks. They needed urgent attention to build up their strength. hope you get an appointment ASAP.

Ps I'm off to the 'vets' tomorrow and will be off-line for a few days, will check to see how she got on when I get back home.

Sorry but I won't be off-line afterall, the Hospital have just rang to say they've no beds, talk about last minute.

Aww she is adoreable.I hope you have more luck with the toilet training then I have....my yorkie Missy is nearly 2 and she still only goes on the paper,the carpet if it isnt there :-(,I am forever getting the shampooer out.I have tried various way's,but have given up,but at least it's on paper I suppose.

She is adorable. I have shih-poo who is attached to me at the hip. She is toilet trained but still uses her puppy pad as I am out of the house at work during the day.

Ha! Ha! Chloe01. I know what you mean, Pebbles is on my heals where ever I go, can't even go to the loo LOL Pebbles is good with her toilet training but being upstairs in a flat to my Mum is a bit of a problem, she will just look at me when she wants to go out, I have a large square plastic tray from my Greenhouse that I used to use to put pot's on for watering and now have it at the top of the stair's with news paper in and she will use it if she can't get to go outside. Good Girl :0)
