My Garden in Summer 2009

Wow! My garden looked like a Bomb Site in Summer 2009 as we were having a New Workshop Built so down came the old wooden Shed my Dad built when he was in his 80s, he was very clever man with woodwork and he has since passed on, it was a sad day for Mum & I when it came down, Oh! What a mess it created my Son-in-Law and my Neices Husband helped my Husband Barry pull it down, then we had to remove the old fondations with one of those big drills and lay a new concrete base, Ha! I even had a go with the drill, I dug, broke up concrete blocks, shovled and wheelbarrowed the rubble to the front garden while Barry was at work so I done my bit LOL
The New Workshop is up and running now but still needs finishing off and this will be done when the weather warms up, like a ceiling, more lighting, walls painted outside & electrics put in properly, so Barry can use the Lathe,Bench Saw & so on.
We have now got rid of most of all the mess also moved the Greenhouse over which has given us space outside the Workshop :-).
I have still got to get rid of a mound of soil & bits of brick & concrete & flatten in this year of 2010.
Well! Here are the pic’s.The mound of earth is in the last but one picture.. Oh! And one of the inside of the workshop before the roof went on.
Well this is the first time I have added pics to a blog, must learn how to add pics in the right order as the two bottom ones should of come earlyer LOL, I’ll learn.
Can’t wait to tidy up more in the nice weather, still a lot to do Awwwww!.
Bye till the next Blog.
Luv Jackie xx

You have been very busy in your garden. You must have lived there a long time, as you said it was your dad's workshop. Looks like a very good makeover. No wonder you have no time to water pots!
