As many of you know Harry and I became Great Grandparents twice this year, first in March Samuel Ethan was born followed later in June by the birth of Isabella Grace [ many of you will have seen my blogs celebrating their births and follwed by Samuels visit to meet us.]
We have been longing to meet Isabella and yesterday it Happened thanks to our son Simon who arranged the visit and ferried everyone around.
The house was heaving with 7adults 2 children and two Babies plus all the luggage babies require when they go calling! lol
We managed to squash in our living room and all enjoyed the following couple of hours, exchanging news and enjoying refreshments [a Cream Sponge and scones I had made to sustain much needed energy levels] but the highlight was the" Pass the Baby’s "game and the long awaited cuddles;0).
A Family Picture One for the Album !
Samuel 5 months old, Proud Mum “Kay” and Proud Dad "Stephen "[ our Grandson]
We were amazed at how much Samuel has grown, he is a lovely little boy so happy and content, lots of smiles and taking an interest in everyone, showing us his latest trick, Rolling Over! He remained chilled out despite being passed around and was as good as gold throughout the visit!
Here She is!
“Isabella” 9 weeks old.with her Lovely Mum “Laura” [our Grandaughter]
A beautiful chubby cheeked little Miss with lots of lovely black hair just like Mums , perfectly behaved throughout the visit and like Samuel wasn’t at all put out by being passed around and cuddled by everyone;0)
Grandad [Simon] and Great Nana[Carole]
And dont we both look happy and proud !
The Proud Great Grandparents Harry and Carole
Got you all too Myself!A great Little Poser!
Isabelle enjoying a cuddle with Clare [Simon’s partner]
Eleanor and George [Clare’s children] Game play On!After a lovely afternoon enjoyed by all it was time for everyone to depart. We all agreed what a wonderful achievement it had been to get the all four generations of the family together, and its something we will strive to continue for as long as we can.
So Bye, Bye Samuel
Bye, Bye Isabella
One last cuddle and suddenly the house was quiet, we sat down to enjoy a nice cuppa and to talk over this very special afternoon.

Thanks to everyone for your lovely comments it was a very special day, have to thank Simon on all his efforts and family support to make it all happen, we are very fortunate to be able to get together. It means so much as you get older and something for the younger generation to look back on and remember. It does bring home to you how precious families are and how important for younger generations to look back on in years to come !

Lovely photos of your family, it's such a joy to all be together isn't it, and the cuppa when peace decends again is appreciated as well! I'm in England myself at the moment looking after my two little grand-daughters and its a hectic couple of weeks but such fun, they grow up much too fast.
