Today is the first day of Spring 2015, rather a special start to welcome this day was the Eclipse! I was out in the garden with my camera all ready to snap this speccial event, unfortunately I was disappointed as my pictures just showed a white flash in the sky;0( but never mind as I was out there there I took the opportunity to take some pictures of the plants that are first to open this Spring, hope you enjoy;0))
“My Welcome Trough”, all planted up for Spring, with Tete Tete Dafs ,Primula, Campanula, and Lily Bulbs not yet showing.
A couple of weeks ago Harry put me some Trellis on the driveway wall so I could grow a Rose to decorate the rather bare and large expanse of wall, The Rose is a red one called" High Flyer" it is at the moment sharing its home with Tete Daffs , Primula, and Campanula
A view of the centre Patio Steps and a large variety of planting and pots.
Polly’s resting place, a bit of a jungle at the moment, but wanted to show Brian his Cyclemen seeds sent last year are floering;0)
here they are Brian havent they done well!
The Crocus are really pretty this year;0)
Snowdrops
Crocus on Rockery
A lovely group of Hellebore
Anemone
Primulas lots of pretty coloured ones
Robin’s Mothers day present
This one is one of my favourite pics;0)

Its time to say goodbye from me and from Lovey and Dovey ;0)
And From this Cheeky Chappie Too xx
Thanks to everyone for viewing and hope you enjoyed.
Happy Gardening Everyone!

I adore your crocus rockery beautiful and does nt that display of Robins mothers day present look lovely on your table.
I dont think Polly would mind being in the jungle more for her to a sniff about .
I had the same with the eclipse thought I was taking the sun a big bright light then looking carefully and enlarging my pictures far in the distance I ve captured a cresent of it, yet when it was over in my other photos the sun looks bigger and closer to where the cresent was. So check again your photos and look for a small cresent either side mine was on the left of the bright light I thought was the sun.

As always your garden looks fabulous Carole and so much colour already ,I love the pot your new rose is planted in and the beautiful gift from Robin ,I'm glad to see Lovey & Dovey are still with you they always remind me of our pair we call ours Pinky & Perky they have become quite tame they fly down for me to have a chat with them at the bird table and they listen to turning their heads from side to side ,it makes me smile .. it was kind of them to leave a snack for Tufty ;o)) x

It looks as lovely as ever Pansy, even more so in the sunlight, Robins gift is very pretty and I like your choice of pot for the new rose.
We still have our dove family visiting and like yours they are quite tame now and are always looking in the patio windows asking for more food, it really winds the cats up and they spend hours on the inside hoping someone is going to open the door, lol. Sadly no Tufty here now but thinking of all the bulbs I lost over the years thats possibly a good thing..

As usual Carole, your garden is a picture. We been working nearly all day in ours, just a short break for going to see King Richards cortege pass. The main road from Bosworth field that took him into Leicester and the Cathedral is only a few minutes away from us, so had to go and see it. A very memorial occasion.Too late to be at the front, but never the less had a good view.
Voltarol works for me Lincs!!!
