Queenswood Country Park and Autumn Colours

Well it had to happen. Someone was bound to start posting pictures of the changing leaves – we can’t put off autumn/winter for ever! So, I visited Queenswood Country Park (on the A49 between Hereford and Leominster) this afternoon. The colours of the trees were lovely in the soft, low sunlight. There is an area called the Autumn Garden – it’s an arboretum really – with many Acer palmatum trees. Some of the trees hadn’t changed colour yet, but some were well on their way. There are plenty of reds at the moment, but not many yellows. Maybe those will come later? Hope you enjoy my pictures…

Glorious colours arn’t they – this last picture is a personal favourite :-)

Love the colors, especially the red! Ooohh I envy you right now, leaves don't change color here. They turn brown and die. =(
