Plant folklore: Flowers thought to look like lame children.
Thought to protect against birth defects.
Dip steel in the juice of the plant and it
becomes pliable!!
Factual info: Can be mistaken for a stinging nettle but it does
not sting.

Yes Di....full or dappled shade suits this little lady..she likes moist soil conditions too....will create a nice carpet if cut back after flowering....

There are some lovely variegated ones, Di and nice pink flowers - there's a lovely picture by Dottydaisy on Terratoonie's blog - I used to LIKE you.... now I LOVE you.... Makes super ground cover.
