I tried to put up these pics last week but the system wouldn’t take any of them. So I have changed profile and am trying again.

I never learn. The clear-out has begun!

Oh Ange,No!Your borders look so pretty and natural.

Your borders look nice and full, but sometimes a bit of thinning out is necessary. However I hope you don't do too much clearing, a full border looks better than a sparsely planted one.

I'm sorry you had to change your account, this site hasn't worked properly for years and I can't see it improving any time soon.

I think full borders look best too, but as Hywel says , sometimes itโ€™s necessary to thin out. Some plants get a bit old too, like all of us!

Ange, I like your orders full of colours. Looks established and mature. You have a large collection of different and interesting plants.....and are very knowledgeable about hem.
Hopefully your new account will work better for you. I also have problems with this site.

Also having trouble on here.Takes ages to upload a photo or comment.

Your first pic looks very like a part of my garden ... very overgrown, presumably thanks to so much rain. Not quite sure what to do about it!

Btw, welcome back!

Thanks, all. Still taking ages to upload. Anyone else having the same problem? It's getting annoying.
I have already filled the green bin with nigella. I don't want to put them in our compost bins incase they seed all over again! Still loads to pull out but it is beginning to look a little better defined. Now onto the front garden..

Still having trouble hereAnge...hit and miss if it uploads!

It's taking many seconds to do anything. Hardly instantaneous. That's gone on for 2 days now, Meadow.

Yes, itโ€™s true โ€ฆ the slow reaction time is very annoying ๐Ÿ™.

I haven't been able to log in for two days but this morning it's working properly again. I've noticed it gets like that sometimes and then rectifies itself after a while. It's probably something technical that the people in charge have to deal with.

Looking really lovely from here! Gorgeous mix and colours, Ange. I'm with Hywel, it's ok to thin out, but better full of blooms than sparse.
I'm sorry to hear you're struggling with the site too, a lot of the members have been having issues haven't they. My only problem, fortunately, is, getting onto the site - as in, takes quite a while to log on. All else is ok, fingers crossed.

Yes, ok today on site. Do you think it is better at week ends when there might be less people using the internet? I know there are busy times when it is better not to go on line ( 9- 5pm) for eg.

29 Jun, 2024

Definitely working more quickly today ๐Ÿ™‚.

Thank you for all your comments. Still slow for me but not as painfull as it has been. I'm quite losing patience!

29 Jun, 2024

Me too !

Not really been on much so not aware that it has been slow. Seems ok for me today. Fingers crossed it is better for us all.

the garden looks great Ange but I also have plants to dig out.

I was out last night when it was cooler, cutting back, Sbg. Starting to see the wood for the trees!

I know this is late Ange, but haven't been able to get into goy.
Janey suggested I try google and it worked but can't get "news" so can't see up todate blogs.
So annoying!

I sympathise Ange, my borders too need sorting out, the rain has dashed everything that's not strong enough to withstand it. Saying that, the cannabinas have their first flower buds!

Hiya Ange, sorry I'm late but you know why, its been working okay for me today so I'm trying to catch up again, I love your borders , as you know I allow things to mingle here for me but as I've said before its personal choice and would be boring if we were all the same.....

14 Jul, 2024

I also love your borders Ange! It's definitely my type of garden!

16 Jul, 2024

So great to be back and able to see blogs again!

16 Jul, 2024

Thank you all for your comments. Seems we all like fuller borders. I've been busy pruning and cutting back and so has OH but there always seems so much still waiting to be done. I'm learning to enjoy what I have!
I've been away and then 'off' for a bit as getting so frustrated!

20 Jul, 2024

Its a shame as well as frustrating, I have a blog in saved drafts that still won't allow me to add the photo's, its been there for weeks, I keep hanging on in the hopes that one of these days I'll come on and find I can add photo's to it.....

20 Jul, 2024

Me too, Linclass.

22 Jul, 2024

I've managed to get some photo's added to mine now F'few but it was a right kerfuffle , now it won't publish so still in saved drafts...
