A diverse bunch but right now that’s how it is starting in the top garden then down into the shade almost no new additions this year, have been very good bought almost no new plants in the last three months
a favourite grass loved by cats and dogs.
Have grown this for a number of years but yet to tire of it.
This one is Bamboo not grass
Prelude of the next season
Already my summer cyclamen are starting to flower filling the alpine house with a heavenly scent, but more of that soon scent .morehttp://media.growsonyou.com/photos/blog_photo/image/156778/main/P1020040_AA.jpg!

Lovely, I like the clearing in the wilderness too. Lovely garden, the ferns are great too. Mine are looking quite good that you sent, thank you. The Astilbes are wonderful too. The white one you sent me is not going to flower this year, I thought I had lost it but it has survived. I bought another one, but not as white as yours, more cream.

I seem to remember you saying Spring was the best time in your garden, but these are lovely. The Japanese painted fern is on my wish list at the moment. The dark red lily is stupendous!

What a beautiful garden, Brian, with such lovely plants. The Salvia Hot Lips looks like a flock of birds!

It all looks so healthy and so very inviting. Your photos are so good; I'm often disappointed with mine, as they don't seem to do justice to the plants.

I do take a lot of pictures often from different angles even different times of day what I post are just a small selection don't have any real skills as a photographer.
I think what helps me most is that I have painted a lot in the past and you look for the same capture in painting as in photo all about light and shadows.

I love your tree-stump display....you have a similar type of garden to mine, small, but laid out in several directions, and full of interesting plants; yours is truly lovely

Oh Brian, I just love your clearing in the wilderness. It looks ever so peaceful. Your ferns are spectacular, as if I'd expect anything less :) Those Lilies must make a heck of a statement.
