This started out with intention of posting two pictures of Meconopsis these are a first for me in fact the only time I have seen white ones first hand other than on a visit to Scotland.
Thrilled because they came to me as seed from Goy Scottish (Angie ) in the summer of 2013.
the other photos are also close by in my wooded area
Realized there are six different ferns in this picture

Oops, meant to add, everything else is looking just as wonderful. Your Deutzia is miles ahead of mine. I may get blooms a fortnight before christmas at this rate!

Hello Brian - third picture down is that an allium or a hosta flower - last summer I had a large plant pot given me from a neighbour moving house - and a hosta has come through with amazing flowers - I have been trying to see if there are aliiums in the pot as well but I think it could be the hosta flowers ? Jane it's Allium and never seen a Hosta with either that colour or
shape of flower I would best describe Hosta flowers as being small trumpet like.
if you think it is allium try crushing a bit of the leaf it will smell of Onion/Garlic.

Lucky you Brian! The one you sent me is doing well. No flowers though. No flowers on my blue ones either, which is disappointing. Next year.... :)

The white one looks even better than the blue Brian.

Lovely white flowers on your Himalayan Poppies, Brian! They look so good! :-))
I've seen a few blue ones around here but never seen one that was white before!
I was wondering what the last plant was called when I read in the comments that it's a Deutzia. It looks really lovely! :-))

Balcony yes deutzia it is,have several varieties quite vigorous 6/8 feet in my garden so they are pruned every couple of years otherwise they would stifle other things around, this one is the most eye catching.
Trying to think of the variety! will need to look at the label ,Think it is< magician>

I popped on just at the right time Brian :)
Mine's is out too. You'll have plenty of seed of your own next year.
Just in case anyone reading is interested. My own seedlings died and Bjs kindly sent a seedling up to me and it's flowering too. White and very very healthy. I'll be taking better care of those seedling next year.
