Thank you .. I should point out that no birds were harmed during picture taking the blackbird came back and bathed in the cascade AFTER I d turned it on ! as if I would ..

Toto your Wren pic must have inspired ours ..as you can see ivy all over the wall and never sure where they all are but home to find 3 fledged sat on the fence waiting for mum by time got in and sun setting over fence didnt make for easy pic but got one or two.

Thanks Spritz the biggest surprise is how fast pond and aquatic plants grow ! The marsh marigolds and bullrush just went mad and lysmachia seems to cover a lot of the crevices

I stored original photos in one of those on line security files and cant seem to retrieve them !

Only just seen this Ray, very funny! Pleased you've sorted the pond - it looks so natural, hope you're in Jane's good books now.
