Absolutely lovely B'smum. I love a good gravel garden...well designed! Love your pond and your deck is fab. It's going to be such a pleasure for you to enjoy all year around. Notice your angel's trumpets Brugmansia on the Deck..isn't the perfume amazing? Wonderful job your two lads have done there! Congratulations!

Aww thanks Karen, there was actually more than 2 guys, I never knew who was gonna turn up but I got to remember who had sugar and how many in their teas lol.

The Brug has been amazing! I need to repot it + plus I have a smaller one not yet flowering that i need to pot on too. The OH is home for the next 2 days so we will get stuck in with the planting! :o)

Oh and BTW, I sold my now surplus to requirements petrol mower to one of the gardeners for £20 lol, he got a bargain!!

Love what you have done there, I can see my garden looking like that very soon as I am gradually removing most of my grass, before I could not bear the thought of not having grass in the garden, but now, I almost cannot stand grass in my garden that is, but admire it in other people's garden, I have taken a lot off already, only got tiny lawns in each garden room, I want to removed those too, with the weather like it is, one cannot cut the grass at all, where there is no grass looks pretty good, just can't be doing with mowing these days, want to give more time to chillin and potter as well as take time and get to know my plants better than worrying about the grass getting long:(

Thanks Denise, apparently tomorrow is gonna be good day weatherwise, (I was out for 4 hrs in the rain on Friday evening) so I shall be out there telling the OH where to dig the holes!!.

Oh and I had an electrician around, our garden electrics are v. old and outdated, so we will have lights, pond fountain pump and electricity in th GH for heater, getting quote on Monday, praying it doesnt cost TOO much !

Thanks Mich, I know EXACTLY where your coming from, my lawn was bumpy, higher at one side than the other, plagued by red ants nests, rogue grass randomly appearing, drove me mad, so now no grass out the front or back, i'm with you, I wanna spend time pottering etc! get rid girl!!!!!

Just trying to catch up on things so sorry I'm late. It's looking fantastic, looking forward to seeing it when planted up. I got rid of my grass in 2010, and I don't miss it at all. I do love seeing it in other gardens though where I don't have to mow:-)
