7 Snowdrop Walk

On Saturday the members of the local rock garden club organised a snowdrop walk through the woods on three local estates.
On a walk in the woods you can tell a ‘galanthophile’ (snowdrop enthusiast) by the position they take up on the ground!
(who included this picture!)
There were many interesting forms to be found in these woods and we a great day out with our friends.

I can't blame you for being prostrate to take photos - sometimes it's the only way... :-) What a great walk!

Great blog, bulbaholic! I managed to miss every event in this year's Scottish Snowdrop Festival - never mind, will be better organised next year ( I always say that, though).

Many thanks for letting us share your walk. What a wonderful sight to see so many snowdrops growing naturally and undisturbed.
