On Monday we went for a drive to Porlock Wear I thought you might like to share a few pictures of the day with us
On the homeward journey we went up via the Toll road, this is the toll house and gate
Hope you enjoyed the ride
Then we saw this adorable little house
The lovely narrow wooded lane out.
I couldn’t resist these little lambs, so cute

Nice to see some different places. What tall chimneys that house has got lol :D

Beautiful blog and gorgeous photos, chimney's normally tell the age and era of a house, and with being thatch roof I can see why so tall as Hywel stated, I wonder if the adorable little house was once belonged to game keeper or woodsman who looked after the area, reminds me a bit of gate houses where the game keepers use to live.

What a lovely day you had...perfect scenery, weather! It is so nice to be able to get out once again after the long winter and see the sights of spring....lambs are popping up in the fields all around now :)
Great that you could share your day out with us. Thanks, Sue.

This is 'our' home area, so it's lovely to see it through your eyes. There's a very nice restaurant at Porlock Weir - special celebrations only, unless you're a millionaire! lol. The toll road is much nicer than going via Porlock Hill, isn't it.

Thats a lovely blog Sue, and super photos. It all brings back a lot of memories for me as I have travelled those lanes many times. Used to work in Minehead, so on days off used to travel that way often. So thank you.
