Bit chilly out there

Brrr, I never know what to wear at the minute, one day it’s just a t-shirt, the next I’m in a jumper and coat! At least it’s dry, the plants all seem to be thriving and Benji’s getting plenty of swimming in! For the last couple of weeks it seemed everytime I got the parasol out it rained, when I put it away again it got hot and dry…
I’ve noticed there are lots of trees losing their leaves now, at 27 I still enjoy walking through the crunchy, dry leaves. Is it just me or can anyone else smell autumn? Such a lovely smell :)
I was walking Benji earlier and was stopped by a lady from the local council who gave me a free cloth bag and a recipe book for using leftovers – don’t you just love getting something for nothing?
Night all x

I like the autumn. It's nicer than summer. That's always too hot or too wet and everything is bright and in your face. Autumn is more subtle and quieter - much better.

It's not that autumnal here yet but i can look across at the woods from my house and see a few trees changing colour - so it's on its way !
Not keen on the dark mornings, nor the extreme cold (like last year) of winter but i like it for its seasonal changes of being cosy indoors whilst crisp outside and wrapping up in toasty clothes - and the winter flowering plants.
I'm even starting to like C******as these days too :)

Know exactly what you mean, the garden is still in bloom but the trees in the country side ( only down the road and turn left, lol.) are lovely shades of yellow and orange and one does scrunch when walking, plus the conkers are there to pick up. I love Autumn but hate the dark nights....

Yes, I have to agree the dark nights and mornings are not something I look forward to! However the cold doesn't really bother me, I don't work so only have to go out to walk Benji :)
Myself and my boyfriend are looking forward to our first Christmas together in our own home (we've been together two years this week!). Can't wait to snuggle up in front of the fire and TV on long winter nights.
Oh, and happy birthday to seaburngirl :)
