It's been a while...

I haven’t posted on here for ages! Mostly because there’s been so little to write about! Winter was so long and depressing, at least this lovely sunny weather gives me an excuse to be out in the garden :) I’ve been on a weight loss trip – started last October and so far have lost 3st. That’s almost 9st in total now :D It’s hard work but it’s great to buy clothes from any shop I like!
Anyway, back to gardening! Well, the border is looking rather more full to last year. For those who don’t remember/know our garden was created in July 2009 – it was completely gutted and redone by ourselves, most plants were bought from garden centres, some were given to us by family.
Here’s how it looked in 2008:
And in 2009:
And here it is now!
My tomato plants (Gardener’s Delight):
So much has changed since taking these photos a couple of weeks ago! I’ve grown Petunias from seed which are just about to flower. 23 tomato plants at the far end grown from seeds free from BBC Good Food magazine and some lettuce and spring onions.
Something I’m quite excited about is we’ve put the house up for sale. Yes, I know I’ll be leaving the garden I created only a year ago but I’m looking forward to starting again – hopefully with a bigger garden. I’ve got so many ideas for our new garden (wherever it may be!) including a dry river, a veg plot and a proper greenhouse! Woohoo! :)

The garden is looing one heck of a lot better than when you started and at least you've managed to stay there over a year which is more than me at my last place, less than a year when I sold it. Though all the work you've put in is just practice for the next place :~))
Well done on the weight loss it will be the hard graft in the garden that is the secret ingredient of your diet
