Not nice here Chris :o( Wind and heavy showers. It's getting on my nerves now lol and I want a bit of warm sunny weather before the winter comes.
Garden is in a mess after I neglected it recently and I want to get it sorted out. But it's soaking wet all the time lol ...

lol that was quik hywel . bit of sun 2 day. think may b just have to get the wellies and mac out hun, need sun b 4 winter . agree wth u xx am fine have a 73 year old student staying wth me at moment lol. 2 b honest shes driveing me mad. gets up at 5 and wakes every 1 up urgggg makes the dog bark let her out and shes messed in the kitchen . so not sure if she b staying .

know the feeling, just want to hibernate this time of the year, but not possilbe with four year old boy lol

we had a party on sat nite ,in the garden cos oh. said its going to b the last day of summer, lol think he may b right. sat was fab

I've been waiting for the rain, not had any for a week or more the ground is so hard I can't plant my bulbs, had the wind though, hate it.. We had a few drinks Sat too Christina, its weird how the light changes when Autumns coming, makes everything look different in the garden, think the sun is definately lowering in the sky.. but might be another excuse to have a few more drinks next Sat!! lol

lol dido . only if the suns out hun . we had a bt 70 peploe here ,d.j,s garden all light up .it looked fab. every 1 comented on garden . hope u get ur rain ,but not on sat .......... haha

Hello Cristina...I am very well thank you...I hope you are well too...The forecast for the next few days is rain...therefore I cut the grass yesterday, 2 days earlier...I do not mind...as I need the ground to be wet...I am planning to move a few shrubs..it is actually sunny at the moment, therefore will get out there to move them...then I shall be happy for the rain to come back to water them for me... for free...just because I watered some of my newer plants in June /July my water bill has gone up from £46 to now £64 a month...I am on a meter.. :((((This is why I cannot complain for FREE water which is RAIN...:))) Oh the garden is looking nice and tidy...I have put some new pictures up this morning...:)) I am on top of it ...lol

hi cristina dull here today but having rain again grrr, trying to keep up with garden but not easy when looking after mum, son and getting joe ready for uni lol, hoping to come on GOY just for short spells, missing everyone ;o))

Hi Cristina........same weather here....the year is on the turn, still warm though in between the showers....it's the early darkness that gets me down....such long evenings to come....and like Hywel, I've gone off my garden quite a bit. Having Lottie is keeping me busy, so I'm going to let the garden do its own thing this winter......we'll be having plenty of walks, or carries....Lol!

Hello Cristina, how do you keep that lovely garden up and do all the other things as well Wonder Woman! Anyway, we had a lovely dose of sunshine this morning/afternoon, but the rain is back now. Had dinner in the garden before setting of to get grandkids from school and then on to work. I am dreading the dark nights and not being able to have a mooch around the garden after tea. SAD Syndrome here we come!

hi bell i do a lot of pottering every chance i get lol. nice to eat out side ,othad much chance this year , hot wen suns out bt to much rain .i agree janey nites drawing in argggg. still u have ur new baby , u can cuddle on the sofa lol. dont neglet ur lovely garden tho will u . its so pretty . i allso get sad bell .just dont want hat winter bak.

Since the middle of August we have had rainy days & days of warm sunshine. We had been hoping for rain during the summer but now it looks as if the missing rain has caught up with us again!

Just this week we had some heavy rain over Monday night but little sign of it on Tuesday. We had some lovely sunshine come out just as I was getting ready to leave the allotment on all 3 days of this week!

We are forecast rain all day on Saturday, if it does put in an appearance then it will mean no allotment :-(

The days are getting noticeably shorter alright, I've just had to switch the light on as I could hardly see the keyboard & it's only about 7.30pm! :-(

Hi Cristina. Rain and winds here too. Went away for a week, came back and my garden looked like a hurricane had hit it. I've tried tidying it up, but rain comes down and it's bouncing off the floor. Decided to do a bit today, but down came the rain again. Last weekend the winds were really bad, but today has been a bit calmer, and when the sun tried to shine, it was quite warm.:o))

Hi Cristina, the weather here is not too good either. Was hoping to get into the garden this weekend to finish the tidy-up we started last weekend ........... think we'll have to do it inbetween showers.

o dear so sad we have had no sun, its rained pretty much every day , still i am in the garden as much as i can.dark at 7 30 now urggggg . roll on nxt summer !!!!!!!!!!!!!

We didn't get the forecast rain here on Saturday after all & I wasted several hours at home waiting for the "heavy rain showers" to pass & not a drop fell! Grrrrrr! I finally left the house at 11.30 & would you believe it? Yes, it did start to rain - just as I was reaching the fencing that encloses the allotment field! But I was lucky - only a few drops fell before it cleared away! :-) The rest of the day was just lovely & at 3pm when I had to leave to go home ;-( the sun was very warm & I felt like staying for a few more hours!!! :-) Unfortunately I couldn't. :-(
